Click And Go provides a visual one-click interface for selecting colors and gobos on fixture channels

Click And Go is a QLC+ UI feature on sliders and channel groups replacing numeric DMX entry with a visual selector. Three modes: Single Color (gradient strip for one colour channel), RGB (color picker — slider toward 0 fades to black, toward 255 fades to white), and Gobo/Macro (grid of gobo images from the fixture definition, with a blue bar for intermediate values within a macro range useful for rotation speed). The feature requires fixture definitions with correctly configured color or gobo capability presets.

Examples

An LD taps the gobo grid icon on a scanner’s gobo slider, selects a star gobo image, and moves the blue bar within the gobo range to set rotation speed.

Assessment

What fixture definition information is required for the Gobo/Macro Click And Go mode to show gobo images? What does moving the blue bar within a gobo macro cell control?

“Click And Go is a technology that allows the user to quickly access macros and colors in a completely visual way and with just a couple of clicks. This can lead to more efficient live shows and more freedom to choose the desired result very easily.”
