QLC+ Blackout forces all HTP channels to zero regardless of running functions

Blackout immediately sets all HTP channels (intensity and colour intensity) in all universes to zero, regardless of what functions are running or values set in Simple Desk. LTP channels (pan, tilt, gobo) are not zeroed. When Blackout switches off, channels return to their previous function-controlled or manually set values. Passthrough data is suppressed during Blackout. Running functions continue computing values in the background — Blackout only blocks their output.

Examples

Activating Blackout mid-show cuts all lights instantly. Deactivating it restores the current look without restarting any function.

Assessment

Does Blackout affect moving head position channels? Does it affect passthrough data? What is the state of running functions during Blackout?

“Blackout is a special QLC+ function used to set all HTP channels in all universes to zero. This will have the effect of stopping light output from all fixtures. The channels will remain at zero, regardless of currently running functions or values assigned to them manually”
