TidalCycles stutter repeats each event n times separated by a fixed time offset, creating manual echo-style delays
stutter n t p repeats each event in pattern p exactly n times, with consecutive copies separated by t cycles (given as a fraction). Unlike ply which fits all copies within the original slot, stutter places copies at fixed time intervals, producing an echo or flamming effect. stutter 4 (1/16) $ s "bd cp" produces four copies each offset by 1/16 of a cycle. Convenience aliases: echo = stutter 2, triple = stutter 3, quad = stutter 4, double = echo. This is equivalent to stut but without volume reduction.
