The RGB Panel Wizard creates a fixture group for a pixel-mapped LED strip panel with configurable orientation

The Add RGB Panel dialog automates creating fixture instances and a Fixture Group for a physical LED matrix. Parameters: universe, start address, columns, rows, physical dimensions, pixel origin corner (top-left/right, bottom-left/right), displacement pattern (Snake=serpentine, Zig-Zag=sequential), and direction (horizontal/vertical addressing). QLC+ creates one fixture per row, then groups them into a Fixture Group with heads pre-arranged. Immediately usable with RGB Matrix. Post-creation layout can only be modified manually.

Examples

A 16×8 LED matrix wired in serpentine (Snake) order starting top-left horizontally: 8 fixtures of 16 channels each, grouped for pixel-accurate RGB Matrix animation.

Assessment

A 12×4 LED panel is wired in zig-zag order starting bottom-right with vertical pixel addressing. Configure the RGB Panel wizard options for this layout.

“This dialog allows you to quickly create and setup a RGB Panel. It is a dedicated dialog to help you with the most annoying process of creating fixtures manually depending on the desired layout.”
