Punctual is not wired into this livecoding rig — no file hot-reload, no 4-bin a.fft shim; run it at its own URL or in Estuary

Unlike Strudel, Hydra, and SuperCollider, Punctual has no engine entry in this repo’s rig configuration (no engines/punctual.yaml, no file-watching hot-reload). Every Punctual corpus record carries runs_in_rig: null. To use Punctual, open it at dktr0.github.io/Punctual or inside the Estuary ensemble platform — it cannot be launched or hot-reloaded from the /jam rig script. The rig’s 4-bin a.fft shim from Strudel→Hydra is also not available to Punctual. Authors should not write rig-specific documentation for Punctual or expect rig-mediated audio→visual bridging.

Examples

Opening a Punctual .txt file in the jam rig does nothing — there is no watcher. Navigate to dktr0.github.io/Punctual and paste the code instead.

Assessment

State why a Punctual sketch saved in the rig’s jam folder will not hot-reload, and name the two alternative environments where it can run.
