The Audio Trigger widget maps audio spectrum bands and volume to DMX channels, functions, or VC widgets

The Audio Trigger widget captures audio and splits it into 5–32 spectrum bands plus a volume bar. Each bar is independently assignable to: DMX channels (proportional to band level), QLC+ functions (start/stop on thresholds), or VC widgets (Button press/release, Slider level, Speed Dial tap, Cue List next cue). The Divisor divides tap rate — trigger once per measure rather than per beat. Enable/Disable thresholds with hysteresis prevent rapid toggling.

Examples

Band #3 (kick drum ~80Hz) triggers a strobe Scene above 70% threshold. Volume bar controls a master dimmer. Band #5 (snare) taps a Speed Dial every other beat (divisor=2).

Assessment

How do you configure an Audio Trigger to start a function on a loud kick drum hit and stop it when the kick drum stops? Which parameters control the thresholds?
