Control All applies a parameter change to all audio tracks simultaneously
Hold [TRK] and turn any DATA ENTRY knob to apply that parameter change to all audio tracks in the pattern simultaneously. This is the macro-control gesture for filter sweeps, volume rides, and LFO depth changes across the full kit. Configuration: in SETUP menu (FUNC+FLTR) > KIT > CONTROL ALL CONFIG, select which tracks are included. The active track is always affected regardless of configuration. MIDI tracks are excluded from Control All. To undo a Control All operation mid-gesture: press [NO] before releasing [TRK]. Control All can be recorded in Live Recording mode as parameter locks. A common performance move: hold [TRK], slowly close the filter frequency across all tracks for a breakdown, then re-open it for the drop.
Examples
In a live set: hold [TRK], slowly turn DATA ENTRY E (filter frequency) counterclockwise to close the filter on all drums simultaneously for 8 bars. Snap it back at the drop.
Assessment
You want to fade out all drums simultaneously except track 2 (bass line). How do you configure Control All to exclude track 2?
