Algoraves should be safe spaces, supported by a published code of conduct

The algorave guidelines recommend that events adopt a code of conduct to promote accessibility and safety. A code of conduct defines expected behaviour, processes for reporting harm, and consequences for violations — making explicit what the space stands for and giving attendees recourse if something goes wrong. The guidelines use the phrase ‘safe spaces’ and link to an example conduct document at github.com/Algorave/algoraveconduct. For new organisers, adopting or adapting an existing code is easier than writing from scratch.

Examples

An algorave event page that includes a link to the code of conduct, names a contact person for reports, and states that harassment will result in removal, exemplifies a working safe-space setup.

Assessment

Write a three-point code of conduct for a fictional algorave. For each point, explain what harm it addresses and how it is enforced.
